The mission of the Sabattus Police Department is to continually focus on improving our leadership and services. Our objective is to ensure the best quality of life for the citizens of the community by promoting and delivering a true feeling of safety and security and by protecting life and property.
SPD consists of 11 members; The department is comprised of the Chief of Police, one Lieutenant, one Sergeant, six Patrol Officers, one Administrative Assistant and one shared Animal Control Officer. At any one time there is usually a minimum of two officers on duty and ready to respond to calls for service. The front counter is staffed by a clerk five days a week between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm. After 4 pm you may call (207) 375-6952 to meet with an officer - or 911 if it is an emergency.

Hours of Operation
Our lobby hours have changed to: Monday-Thursday 7:30AM-4:00PM and Friday 7:30AM to 1:30PM with the exception of holidays and severe snow days. Evenings and weekends you can meet with an officer at the station or your home by first calling Dispatch at: (207) 375-6952. If it's an emergency, please dial 911.
