The mission of the Sabattus Police Department is to continually focus on improving our leadership and services. Our objective is to ensure the best quality of life for the citizens of the community by promoting and delivering a true feeling of safety and security and by protecting life and property.
SPD consists of 9 members; The department is comprised of the Chief of Police, one Sergeant, five Patrol Officers, one Office Manager and one shared Animal Control Officer. Typically during the day, there is one officer on duty ready to respond to calls for service. The front counter is staffed by the office manager five days a week between the hours of 7 am and 3 pm - with the exception of holidays and severe snow days. After 3 pm you may call (207) 375-6952 to meet with an officer - or 911 if it is an emergency.
