On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, the Board will hold a public hearing in the Oak Hill High School gymnasium for the Board to provide information about the closure of Sabattus Primary School. This meeting will also give community members an opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts. There will not be a vote at the public hearing. The meeting will be livestreamed on the RSU 4 Youtube channel for those unable to attend.

On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, residents of Litchfield, Sabattus and Wales are encouraged to vote on the Sabattus Primary School closure referendum. Polling is open from 8:00am-8:00pm at the Community Room located at the Sabattus Town Office. The town office will closed on April 8th due to the vote and not be able to preform any services (tax payments, registrations, water/sewer payment,ect). Any payments made by check you would like to leave for processing on Wednesday April 9th can be placed in the silver drop box located to the left of the front door, if you would like a receipt include a self addressed envelope with postage.
