The Town of Sabattus is accepting applications for a full time Office Clerk / Accounts Payable Assistant to work in the Town Office.
Duties include:
Customer service at the front counter and by phone; processing motor vehicle registrations and renewals; issuing licenses and permits; accepting payments for property taxes, water and sewer; maintaining a daily cash drawer; processing weekly accounts payable; filing general clerical duties, daily cleaning of the building.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Clerical experience preferred. Must be able to multitask, work accurately with numbers, and provide courteous service to the public. Ability to work well with others is essential.
Special Requirement:
Must be bondable.
